Accor continues to expand its presence in the Russian market with 4 new properties planned to open in 2011: 3 Ibis hotels in Samara, Yaroslavl and Nizhny Novgorod and one Mercure hotel in Moscow. Accor already runs 8 hotels in Russia, under various brands.

Hilton has 11 projects in Moscow under development. The ones nearest to completion are the hotels located in Kazan and Yaroslavl, and a second Hilton in Moscow.

The Intercontinental Hotels Group plans to open 3 more new hotels in Russia in 2011. The first Intercontinental branded property in Moscow is planned to open in the heart of Moscow, on Tverskaya Street by the summer of 2011. Two Crowne Plaza properties are also being constructed in St-Petersburg, including one near Pulkovo airport, and one in the city center. At present, IHG has 9 properties in Russia: 1 Crown Plaza and 5 Holiday Inns in Moscow, and 3 Holiday Inns in St-Petersburg, Samara and Chelyabinsk.
