Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide signed a agreement to open its first Aloft hotel in Russia - in St-Petersburg, by 2015. The new property located in new business district in the North of the city will be a 3* hotel. Starwood operates 3 properties in Russia, including the National Hotel and Sheraton Palace in Moscow and W in St-Petersburg. In the next few years, Starwood will also open a second Sheraton in Moscow, as well as in Rostov on Don and Perm, and one Four Points by Sheraton in the Moscow region. Overall, Starwood will have 7 new properties in Moscow and the CIS in the next 3 years.
