New Hotels in Moscow & St-Petersburg

While some developers are freezing large projects in Russia, many others continue to expand into this constantly growing market. Thus, a new Holiday Inn opened in Moscow in June and another one is planned to open in St-Petersburg in 2011. Another IHG brand, Staybridge Suites, will be opened in St Petersburg next year.

In September 2010, the first InterContinental will be opened in the very center of Moscow, at the site of former Hotel Minsk. Shangri-La has announced the plan to open the first hotel of this brand in Moscow in 2012. In December 2009, Rezidor hotel group will launch their new property in Moscow, when the former hotel Ukraine will be opened after a total reconstruction as Radisson Royal Hotel.
