Four Seasons hotel group will take up the management over the former Moscow hotel, which will open in 2013. 4 new hotels of international brands will open in Moscow in 2012, including the Mercure Arbat with 109 rooms on Smolenskaya Square, Novotel (4*) with 350 rooms in the new business district of Moscow City, a 5* Kempinski Hotel Nikolskaya right next to the Red Square with 210 rooms. Rezidor with open two hotels, one 3* and one 4* near the Victory Park. In 2013, Hilton Doubltree will open at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow.

The Radisson Blu Resort and Congress Hotel with 500 rooms is schedule to open in the first half of 2013 in Sochi, where the 2014 Winter Olympics will be held. Marriott International will open 3 properties in Sochi. A Marriott, and a Courtyard will open in the end of 2013 and a JW Marriott Sochi Golf Resort is planned for opening in 2014.

The Park Inn by Radisson will open in 2013 in Petrozavodsk and. Hampton by Hilton will open in 2013 in Volgograd in the South of Russia. InterContinental Hotel Group plans to have 100 properties in Russia and the CIS by 2020. Today IHG has 11 hotels in Russia, the latest opening was the Intercontinental Tverskaya in the center of Moscow in January 2012. And finally, Hyatt will expand in Russia, opening 2 properties in Vladivostok in the Far East in 2012 and one property, Hyatt Regency Resort, in 2013 in Sochi.
