According to Jones Lang LaSalle analysis, since 2009, 2,264 more hotel rooms have become available in Moscow, including the recently opened Renaissance Monarch, Radisson Royal Ukraine and Lotte Plaza. The upscale/luxury segment is the fastest growing one, with a total of 2,000 rooms. Moscow has a total of 241 hotels with 36,000 rooms.
