Inna Tour, one of Russia's top 30 TOs has been sold to the Reinvest holding, the price of the deal was not disclosed. The new owner plans to invest $10 million into the new business and make Inna Tour one of the Top 10 Tour operators. The new owners plan to invite Inna Beltukova, the former owner of the now bankrupt Capital Tours, to become its "independent director". After the bankruptcy of Capital Tour, many of its former staff joined Inna Tour, and Inna moved into the former offices of Capital Tour. The main business of Inna Tour is airline ticketing and package tours to mass - market destinations.
As of June 1, Megapolus Tours (which is part of the Kuoni Group) appointed Victoria Kizimova as its new General Director, she replaced Edward Kouznetsov, the former Director who recently left the company as part of its major restructuring process. In April 2011, Megapolus decided to stop all its charter programs and withdraw from tour operating business, in order to focus on FIT, VIP and the corporate segment. The decision was made by Kuoni due to the low margins of TO business in Russia, over the last few seasons. As a result, many staff were made redundant and have since joined other leading TO's.
